Giving Tuesday 2021
Giving Tuesday is held on the last Tuesday in November. This day gives people a chance to give back to nonprofits they support. We promoted a week before to get our audience excited to give and share our goals for 2021. We surpassed our goal by 88% and had over 200 donors support Manchester University. During this campaign, I gave live updates throughout the day and sent out reminder posts to encourage people to donate.
Giving Tuesday is a day that encourages giving back. This is a great opportunity to make gifts to projects that support Spartans throughout their college journey. Manchester University will focus on the following projects for this year’s #GivingTuesday:
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives
• North Manchester and Fort Wayne Food Pantries
• The Manchester Fund
